Amitava is an engineer, information systems, and management professional. He received his undergraduate degree in engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Khragpur. He then went on to complete his MBA at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has worked in the software applications domain for eight years primarly designing and developing business and telecommunication systems working closely with system users. He has experience in system conceptualization, functional design and novel networking applications.
